An upcoming for-charity zine dedicated to shining the spotlight on every wonderful aspect of our favorite CRT, Tenna!

About

TV TIME! A Tenna Zine is a project dedicated to exploring each and every trait that makes Tenna from Deltarune's third chapter an amazing character! Not only will his personality and lore be on full display, but also his relationships with characters from both dark and light worlds, and perhaps...maybe even feature a few fan designs from years past?
Stay tuned folks!
The zine will feature an ALL STAR CAST of around 40 page artists, 5 merch artists, 5 writers, and also a couple of extra special creatives! Their lovely work will be featured in both digital and physical formats, and all proceeds accumulated in the end will be donated to The PBS Foundation!

Hiya guys! I've been an artist for fifteen years, just recently started up my merch shop, and I'm super excited to bring this zine to life! I've previously participated in other zines as a page artist (Afterimage: A Grell Zine, Here Is A Brighter Garden: A Seasonal DDLC Zine) and merch artist (BIG SHOT: A Spamton Zine, Our Hearts In Harmony), but this will be my first time in the drivers seat!Tenna is such a joy to draw, and as someone who's adored robotic characters for decades, I've been kind of obsessed watching his sudden rise in popularity. It makes me extremely excited to see him so utterly adored by the Deltarune fandom!
I LOVE TV!

Great to meet you! My name’s Natalie, but plenty of you probably already know me as my online handle, Randyvouz. I’ve been a professional artist for around seven years or so, focusing on visual development like character and prop design, I also write and I’m in the process of creating a show! But, I’ve also dipped into the merch side of things a couple times, and enjoyed it each and every time, so I’m excited to see what people come up with for this lovely TV guy! This is my first time hosting and participating in any sort of zine, so while I’m a little nervous, having great artists like Mia by my side makes me positive this will be an amazing experience for all of us < 3
I LOVE TV!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is a zine?
A: A zine is a collection of art focused on one singular theme or topic, which is then combined into a digital PDF or physical booklet. Sometimes zines are made solely by one person, but this one will be a collaborative effort between many artists!
Q: Will the zine be digital or physical?
A: Both! There will be several different bundle options to choose from, with the digital-only versions being cheaper, of course.
Q: How to I apply to be an artist/contributor?
A: Applications are currently not yet open! They will open up on August 7th. Turn notifications on for our socials to be notified of when they do!
Q: I have no experience with joining a zine/have little social following. Can I still apply?
A: Of course! Applications will be judged solely based on the quality of art and pitch ideas. If you have never had your art printed before, simply familiarize yourself with CMYK.
Q: I have no Tenna art in my portfolio, can I still apply?
A: Of course! However, due to unique the nature of Tenna's character design, we would HIGHLY RECCOMEND having, at the very least, art of a TV-headed or robotic character in your portfolio.
Q: Will all applicants recieve emails?
A: Everyone will recieve emails regarding their zine application status, with the exception of Mod Applications which will be contacted directly only if selected.
Q: What is your stance on ships?
A: No romantic ships of any kind will be present in the zine, but pitches regarding Tenna's canon interactions with other characters are welcomed and encouraged!
For example, a piece with Tenna and Spamton on a talk show or sharing drinks together would be allowed, but art of them kissing or sharing a bed would not be.Q: Wait a minute, is that the TV TIME font?
A: It is! Mia made it herself haphazardly just to have it as an easy vector for the logo. It's a bit wonky, I recommend using the capital letters only tbh, but you're welcome to download it for free from Mia's VGen!
